10 Day, 9 Night
Small group photography workshop exploring New Zealand's most spectacular landscapes and birdlife

Led by Samuel Markham & Dave Sanderson

Workshop Overview

Experience an immersive 10 day, 9 night landscape & birdlife photography workshop throughout New Zealand’s spectacular South Island alongside renowned photographer Samuel Markham and Dave Sanderson. Designed for photographers of all skill levels, this hands-on workshop will help you refine your photography skills while exploring some of New Zealand’s most dramatic alpine landscapes.

Throughout the workshop, you'll photograph towering mountains, glacial lakes, lush rainforests, and native birdlife across the South Island during the incredible autumn season. From beech forests to snow-capped peaks, New Zealand’s landscapes and wildlife provide endless opportunities for creating unforgettable images.

Samuel and Dave will guide you through their complete photography workflow — from camera setup, composition, reading light and weather conditions, and advanced field techniques, through to their full post-processing approach in Adobe Camera Raw, Lightroom and Photoshop. You'll leave with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to capture, edit, and create stunning images anywhere in the world.
