Image Description
The incredible American Southwest. A dry, harsh and unforgiving place. When I visited Phoenix it was going through its worst heatwave in recorded history, with temperatures soaring into the high 40s every day. 7 hours away in Death Valley, California hit 52.8 degrees, breaking the global record for the month of September. I opted to photograph only during sunrise and sunset, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures.
